Calstock and Stoke Climsland Year 5 French Trip
On Tuesday 22nd May to Wednesday 23rd May 2018, Year 5 pupils from Calstock and Stoke Climsland school travelled to France for a fun packed 36 hours. Having met at the ferry terminal at 8.00pm, they sailed overnight on the ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff and had an exciting night sleeping on the boat. Once in Roscoff they visited the market, a traditional creperie, the beach and souvenir shops as well as doing lots of sightseeing. They then made the journey back to Plymouth and arrived back on land at 8.00pm Wednesday evening.
The children all had an wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The Calstock children got a chance to mix with their peers from Stoke Climsland and to build new friendships.
Thank you to Mr Towe, Mr Pengelly, Mrs Utton, Miss Joyce, Mrs Mitchell and Mrs Breeze for accompanying the children and allowing this trip to go ahead. A fantastic experience for all!
